VIVE (Virtual Interactive Environment) is the new platform from HTC that makes it possible for users to interact with the virtual world in a new way. VIVE offers a new approach to virtual reality that lets you interact with the world in a more natural and immersive way.
With the VIVE app, you can access your phone's notifications in the VR world, even while you're using other apps. Notifications will pop up on your screen, and you can even choose to be notified by the sound of your phone.
HTC also lets you access the contacts on your phone and send them to the connected VR device as a notification. This means that you can receive notifications from the world even while using other apps.
